Use of RCNP resources
Call for proposals for the joint usage / research of RCNP
Research Center for Nuclear Physics, Osaka University solicits new proposals for the joint usage / research. For extending its function as the International Joint Usage / Research Center, RCNP offers its resources for the promotion of novel researches in the nuclear physics and related fields. Resources opened for the promotion of novel researches in the nuclear physics and related fields. Resources opened for the Joint Usage / Research are summarized in three categories as follows. In addition to the listed resources, new ideas of other useful resources and the combined use of the resources are greatly welcome.
ex. LEPS / LEPS2, Kamioka underground labs, high performance computing system, and low energy ion beams from ion source

Budgets needed for the usages and researches are assigned on the request of proponents. Budget request, accounts of expenditure should be given. The RCNP users’ office helps realizing effective and flexible execution of the budget. The results of collaborations must be reported in the form of journal papers, conference talks, or by one of publicizing methods. Authors are requested to indicate the support by the grants in RCNP international joint-usage and joint-research program in the acknowledgements with the following sentence: This work was partly supported by the RCNP International Joint Usage Program as the project number J###(Q###).*
*If the acknowledgement is for a report to the QPAC, the Q### comes first. eg.) Q###(J###)
. A short report should be also submitted by the end of each fiscal year during the collaboration period.
The format of a proposal is free. It should include the following common information and information dedicated for each resource. The official language is English.

Title of a proposal / Spokesperson (name, affiliation, position, email address) / A collaborator list (name, affiliation, position ) / Running time / Requirements for the experimental apparatuses / (Beam time and beam condition for the use of the LEPS / LEPS2 or the low energy ion beams)

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED RESEARCH
Objectives and impacts of the experiment / Experimental method and apparatus / Experimental schedule / Equipment provided by the experimental group, if any / (Estimation of the beam time for the use of the beams).
There is no charge for use of the beam and existing experimental facilities. In return, all the results obtained from the experiment should be open to public.
